To make up for his youthful delinquency Earl, Catalina and Randy go back to camp to build a pen for an ostrich. Earl also adds Randy to his list for getting him kicked out of camp and ruining his chances to be a good person. But then the truth comes out about how the barn actually got burnt down. This leads Earl to hold Randy 1/2 responsible for every wrong he did since camp.

Giovanni Ribisi Guest Stars in this episode. Years ago Earl stole Pop's Old Fashioned Weiner Cart and try to make good by returning it.

However once the cart is returned, a rival hot dog stand owner burns it down. Earl demands it be replaced and when the owner says no, Earl goes over his head to the hot dog cart company's headquarters. Earl tricks his way into a cubicle job and tries to get the money for the replacement cart by stealing office supplies.

Easier said than done, as Earl runs into serious snags in his plan. Meanwhile Randy decides that he needs to find his calling in life by getting a job. He goes from job to job including a stint as a busboy at Darnell's Crab Shack. The gang comes to the realization that maybe Randy was meant to be perpetually unemployed.

The two begin to date but Earl finds himself the recipient of many random acts of violence and believes them to be because of the bus stop sign. Meanwhile Randy, in his quest for meaning, rushes a fraternity and fits right in.
